Perusing through the industry news and trends this morning I came across something that would be of particular interest for local business owners planning to improve their website in the next few months. How much should you spend on Search Engine Optimizaiton (SEO)? Great question!
We've set a pricing schedule at C2 Connections based on what it takes us in the Pacific Northwest (particularly serving the SEO needs in Spokane). We have come up with, I believe, a fair price based on the resources and time it requires for us to do well for our clients. In a recent survey of hundreds of agencies, it seems like the price for SEO isn't what it used to be.
Whether it makes sense to pay that much to optimize your website and get more eyeballs on your content is a decision only you can make. Every business and every industry is different from one to another. But this much is clear: SEO is more difficult than it used to be, and the rising costs reflect the intricate dealings that are required to be a player in today's connected economy.
I will tell you this: C2 Connections is committed to keeping our SEO services affordable. To us, that $2500 - $5,000 range is a tad high. What do you think?
